Cafe Dubai: A Culinary Gem in San Antonio's Lone Star District

I love the atmosphere. It is very peaceful and almost spiritual. The food tastes great and there is a wide variety of choices! I recommend to my friends and eat here a couple times a week.

The food was good and the owner was very kind and welcoming. We got the birria tacos, cheese burger and arayes. Everything was good and very fresh.

The food was great!! My respect for the Chef fresh and made with dedication, and the service waitress Rosaysel was wonderful nice and warm welcome!! Love the Cafe!!

So excited that the fabulous Cafe Dubai has opened up in the Lone Star District. The chef/owner, Lion, takes great pride in all the dishes served. Everything is prepared with care and you can taste that extra love is sprinkled into all the food. We love everything but I have to say the made from scratch falafel served here are what dreams are made of. Both times we've eaten here, the server has been attentive and made sure we had everything we needed/wanted. And when chef stops by our table, the twinkle in his eye speaks to the passion the food is made with. Five stars all day, every day.

San Antonio does it again! I drove 40 miles to get to this place and I was not disappointed. This place is about 4 months old and it really is a diamond in the rough. Everything was fresh made to order. My absolute favorite was the Taco Arabe. All of the flavors just meshed so well together. A perfect balance of savory chicken, garlic and acidic blends. The humus was delightfully smooth and did not over take the taste of the bread. The chicken kabob and rice was light yet deeply savory. Whatever that white sauce is just paired well with anything that touched it. I even took mine to go. Please know that the food you are getting is made when you order it. Wait time is not super long but you can’t go to a place with quality food such as this with a fast food mindset. Cafe Dubai was worth 40 mile drive and definitely worth a few minutes of waiting. Just park in the back and walk around the front. We will definitely mark this as a favorite. I hope nothing but the best for this jewel of a place.

No this is beyond my expectation, we ordered burger, kofte kebab, tenders and hummus and it was very very good the owner was very nice and welcoming. I Highly recommend the burger it's Halal and very very good

Very cozy, local, family run business. They care for their customers, the quality of their food, and the servers they provide. Delicious food, good portion size, great prices. Food tastes homemade. Plus they have free parking in the back. Highly recommend. We tried the dubai chocolate and it was one of the best chocolate desserts I’ve ever had. The pistachio, the richness of the chocolate, a perfect balance.
